New Sanctuary Residents

The Sanctuary now has two new caretakers - Mindy and Trevor Abernathy.

Trevor's day job is with JW Painting, doing both interior and exterior painting and repair. He is handy and mechanically inclined. He loves the outdoors and nature and looks at the sanctuary as an awesome place to live.

Mindy grew up on the back side of the sanctuary and her parents still live there. When the Columbia United Methodist Church served the "bird meals" at our meetings, she got up very early to go help her mom. Her job was collecting trays. Her grandparents, Lloyd and Virginia Mason, used to live in the yellow brick house.

The Abernathys are both 28 years old and have no children, but do love working with young people. They have moved into the house recently vacated by Tim and Pam Keller, who had to resign for health reasons. But we are delighted to have the Abernathys with us now!
