Great Black-backed Gull X Herring Gull Hybrid by Jeff McCoy The Port of Indiana, Porter County - 12 December 2004

Note larger size and mostly white head compared to accompanying Herring Gulls. Slaty-backed Gull was eliminated by wing pattern during flight.
